When selecting a jump rope length, we recommend most people use a rope length roughly 100cm longer than their height. Advanced jumpers looking for a faster rope should select a rope length 75cm longer than their height.

In other words, if you are 1.83m tall (6 feet), consider a 2.8m rope or a 2.6m rope if you are an advanced jumper who wants a faster rope.
